End of Season 2012 Hole In Ones

We've had a ton of golfers this season who put the ball in the hole in one shot. We are going to start testing our customers for performance enhancing drugs. Here are some more aces to wrap up the 2012 season!

7/26/2012 - John Urnick John used a pitching wedge to sink it on the #3 hole from 130 yards out. Nice!

7/31/2012 - Jo Dunn Jo aced the #17 hole with a 5 wood during the Tuesday night ladies league.

8/21/2012 - Denny Nagy Denny was on hole #5 with a 9 iron when he decided one swing was enough for him.

8/24/2012 - Wally Hoffer Hole #5, a pitching wedge, and Wally got together and made something awesome happen.

Jack Kreger Jack is only 80 years old. He aced hole #5 with a 6 iron. What do you expect? He's in his prime.

9/5/2012 - Bill Riley Bill aced hole #8 with an 8 iron. He got bored watching everyone else finish.

9/25/2012 - Ray Berkosky Ray used an 8 iron on hole #17 from 115 yards out and joined the hole in one club.

9/28/2012 - James T Phillips James drove out from Alliance, OH. With a 4 wood on hole #5 he showed everyone how it's done in Awesomeville.

10/30/2012 - Ralph Durkey Ralph went with an 8 iron on hole #8 to be ironic and it payed off. His sister Betty Goodwin watched Ralph knock it in with one swing.

10th Annual Big Fella Open

The Big Fella Open is an annual memorial outing in the name of Ryan Frederic Trumm who was raised in Massillon, Ohio, and graduated from Jacksonn High School. The event funds local charities.

Hole In One July 2012

This month we added two more hole in ones to our list of awesome golfers at Rolling Green.

July 22nd, 2012 - Marcia Akins from Akron managed to ace the #17 Hole with a wood. Probably not a bad play to bump and run on this hole. There is little room around the green to land except in front. So, if you get the speed right like Marcia did, you might just get lucky and sink it in one shot!

July 12th, 2012 - James Siegmund from North Canton took a more conventional approach with a pitching wedge on the #3 hole. Worked great for him as he sunk it with one stroke.

Way to go guys. Golf Clap!

Hole In One 2012

The hole-in-one, otherwise known as an Ace, is a very rare occurrence. Simply put, you hit the ball off of the tee and it ends up in the hole. It requires a good amount of skill or luck. (probably both) Although I've had some close ones, I've never quite been able to sink it in one shot.
